Zumba

I wasn't planning on doing a post about Zumba, but I just got finished with one of the workouts and felt intrigued. A lot of people have been asking me what it is, so Zumba is a dance inspired fat-burning workout. It combines moves from Latin dances such as salsa, samba, and lots of others with some hip hop other fun styles. Me and my mom went and took a class, it was an hour long, and it about killed us the first time, but was really fun. Since my mom has a crazy work schedule and it's hard for me to get a babysitter, being able to keep going to the classes was just not realistic. So my mom bought the dvd's and I have been using them the last couple of days. Despite having to banish the kids to upstairs while I workout, or having to cut it short cause Pallas is screaming, I still love doing it. The time flies by during the workout and my whole body feels good afterward. Actually going to the class is a lot more fun than doing it in my living room, but you gotta do what you gotta do. If you get the chance I would recommend everyone go try it out. If you have any type of dance background, you will especially love it.

Pallas's Blessing

Pallas Rose Chiste was given a fabulous blessing on February 7th, by her loving daddy. Rob was really nervous because this was his first baby blessing he has ever given. My dad did both Landen's and Boston's. Even though he felt like he was gonna pass out, Rob did a great job and all of us listening could feel the love he has for his baby girl. I'm very blessed to have such a wonderful family.

My bishop also did something I've never seen before. He had me stand up after the blessing and be recognized as well. My grandma pointed out to me what an awesome thing that was and how much respect and gratitude our bishop knows us moms deserve.

(I thought I would show the family at our norm. The boys not paying attention and Pallas getting bored.)

Goals and Gettin' Crafty

Since I never seem to take the time to stay updated on my Blogging, I decided to make a goal of doing at least 1 blog entry every day this week. I have a lot of things to catch up on and sometimes my posts might be very short and pointless, but I will post something every day.
MONDAY
I have been wanting something like this for a long time. And since it's rainy outside and I have finally accumulated enough stuff, I decided today was the day to get crafty. It's amazing how some simple household items can turn into something very useful, not to mention cute!

So I took some of this...

...used these things ...

...used one of these....

...and got THIS!!!..

...for the purpose of THIS!
The cool thing is I didn't have to go buy anything, it's all stuff I had here! But I do have an abundance of ribbon that I have accumulated through Stampin' Up and Dance.

Check back in often cause I will be a blogging machine this week. Oh, and leave a comment and say Hello! It will help keep me motivated!
