Feeling Better

Well, I'm finally feeling better. We caught it before it turned into a full blown ulcer, and my body isn't digesting right and that's why I had the pain in my stomach. I'm on medicine now and probably will be for a very long time, if not forever, but I don't mind. I would much rather have to take medicine everyday then feel the way I did. Thanks everyone for your concern and Get Better Wishes.

Delayed

They can't get me in for an ultrasound untill Wednesday. So I have to just cope until then. I have had a few people now suggest that it could be my gall bladder, but I can guess and guess but won't know for sure till Wednesday. My mom is having me and the boys stay at her house for the next few days so my family can help watch the boys and things like that. Rob will be over there when he's not at work. I just HATE waiting.

What's Wrong?!

Aside from having pneumonia, I have been sick off and on for awhile now. I have been having a lot of trouble with my stomache and my intestines and I haven't been able to really eat anything. I had lost 8 pounds in about 2 weeks, so I finally decided to go see a dr. this past Thursday. Well, he said that the acid in my stomach is eating away at the lining of my stomach and intestines, so he put me on some medicine and said to call him monday. The medicine seemed to be helping, but then on Friday night I was out working at Schnepf's and I started feeling really sick again so I went home. I couldn't even move for hours that night cause I hurt so bad. Then Saturday morning I was doing ok so I decided to go back to work. About 3 hours after I got there I got really sick again and had Rob take me into the Urgent Care. I guess we have a long line of Ulcers that run in the family that I didn't know about. So at Urgent Care they had me drink this numbing stuff and it seemed to help some (so we are pretty sure I have an ulcer), but I could still feel something in my stomache. It feels like I have a baseball that is pushing on my ribs and it really hurts. So the doc had me lay down and he started feeling around. Well, he felt it. ANd he started moving it around and pushing in other places. So he ordered me an abdominal ultrasound. I go in tomorrow to see if we can find out what it is. My mom is one of the 3-5 people in the world that has a floating kidney in her body, and who knows, by the way I feel I may have something like that too. I just need to start feeling back to normal. So I will post with my results from the ultrasound after I get them.

Landen's Singing

I love hearing Landen sing, it just makes me smile. He just started singing full songs. Here are a couple of videos of him singing Happy Birthday and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. The second one is kind of hard to hear and in the first video he has a big bandaid on his chin. No we don't beat him, he just has a sore on his chin and he won't stop touching it, so I had to cover it up.

Happy Birthday to You

The Zoo and a Birthday

Since I had been gone all weekend long working, Rob decided to take a Vacation Day on Monday and we took the boys to the Phoenix Zoo. It was nice weather at first, but then it got really hot and a lot of the animals were sleeping.

The boys stopping to look at all the turtles before we went into the zoo.

Landen was a little nervous at first cause he thought the statue was real.

I'm helping Landen see a HUGE iguana.

Landen LOVED the petting zoo. He was so gentle with all the goats in there. Boston liked them but he was to scared to touch them.

Anyone who knows Landen, knows how much he loves elephants and giraffes. He went crazy when he saw them.

Landen did not put the map down the whole time we were there. Everytime we would come to an animal, he would have to find it on the map before he would even look at it. If you notice, he is holding the map in all of the pictures.

(That's a rhino in the background)

Monday was also Sierra's 15th birthday, so we came straight from the zoo over to her birthday dinner at Uncle Bears. They gave her a free sundae for her birthday.

Autumn made her a polar bear cake. And here it is with Sierra taking a pic of herself.

It was a really FUN day and it was SO nice to spend a day with the boys after working all weekend.

Exhausted

After working Schnepf's this weekend, I am exhausted. 28 hours in 3 days. Next weekend is going to be even more crazy. On the weekends I am literally living on Diet Coke and Mountain Dew!
