Questions

I have now seen THIS on 3 of my friends blog and I really enjoyed reading their answers so I thought I would post it too.

Enjoy!

I know: A lot of people all over the place. Between my different schools, shows, the dance studio, salons, music, and church I have met a lot of people. Even if i don't remember them, they always seem to remember me. Seems like I can't go ANYWHERE without someone coming up to me. I even run into people I know at Disneyland.
I want: to be an amazing dancer. But alas, my child bearing body will only let me go so far.
I have: A lot of big material things. I also have a lot of opportunites most people never get.
I wish: I wasn't so logical.
I hate: stupid people. That is my BIGGEST pet peeve, stupid people. That covers a lot.
I miss: performing. I still get to perform more than a lot of people get to, but I miss being in musicals. They take up a lot of time that I don't have.
I fear: Something bad happening to the boys. I also fear myself or a very close family member getting cancer.
I smell: my Matrix shampoo. My hair is still wet from a shower.
I crave: the beach
I search: for inspiration for my next dance I have to choreograph. I also search for fun places to take the boys that is out of the heat, but not cost money.
I regret: Not always having the self confidence that I do now.
I love: Rob, Landen, Boston, and the rest of my family. Words cannot describe.
I always: try to follow through with what I say. If I don't mean it, I don't say it.
I am not: a person to cross. Don't get on my bad side. I am also not patient.
I believe: the church is true.
I dance: A lot. Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Clogging, Jazz. As an occupation, as a passion, as a talent I want to keep developing.
I sing: not nearly as much as I should. It is a gift I need to share.
I don't always: tell people how much I appreciate them.
I write: very little these days.
I lose: items all the time. I am a very organized person, but my house seems to swallow up things I KNOW I put in a specific spot, all the time.
I win: people over. I am outgoing and a very good shmoozer. I know how to treat people.
I never: get a good parking spot. Rob on the other hand, somehow ALWAYS gets a front row parking place. That's why I always have him drive.
I listen: to everything I can. I am very observant and like to know what's going on.
I can usually be found: doing something. I am almost never idle. Sitting at the computer is the longest I stay in one place usually.
I am scared: of spiders. I wish they would all die.
I need: groceries. We are really low right now.
I am happy about: My little family!

YAY ROB!!!

Rob has been with SRP for almost 4 years and he has worked SOOO hard, long hours, lots of overtime, all while out in this blazing 3 digit temperatures. Well it has FINALLY paid off! We found out last week that Rob has been accepted into a Relay Tech apprenticeship with SRP!!! It's a 4 year long apprenticeship program. He beat out a lot of other guys for this position and he definitely deserves it. It will be a long 4 years of training and schooling and me and the boys missing daddy a lot, but it will definitely be worth it in the long run. After he finishes his 4 year apprenticeship, we can move anywhere we want to and he will have a very good paying job. He will be making a good 6 digits a year after he tops out! So in 4 years, Utah here we come!

MEMORIES!!

This has been passed down through a long line of single generation of friends and due to Katie's request I am continuing on the tradition. Even though I don't think many people read my blog, this is what you do.
*Leave me a comment about a memory you have with Me, Rob, the Boys, or all of us together. The more Random the better! Then take the challenge and repost this yourself.*
Even if you don't have a blog yourself, you can still leave a comment. Just do it as anonymous and then sign your name at the end. Come on guys, don't make it look like I have no friends!

2nd Camping trip

Since we loved the first camping trip so much, we decided to go back and this time almost my whole family came with too. We had a lot of fun, but we didn't get the site we were hoping for because the camp ground was almost full. They were having the Iron Man Triathalon there that weekend and I didn't know. Next time I will do my research and find out if any big event is going on the same time we want to go. We had a great time at the lake and everyone loved the kayak. I got really burnt, but that's what I was hoping for! The last night we were there is started downpouring! And our tent was supposed to be leak proof, but that wasn't the case. So in the middle of the pouring rain, me and Rob had to go out and cover the tent with this huge tarp we brought. Now that's camping. I will post pics later because we used my parents camera most of the time. But all in all we had a GREAT time and will probably be going again very soon.

Canyon Lake

Last Wednesday we decided spur of the moment to go try out the kayak before we took it with us camping in Flagstaff this past weekend. We are only about 15 minutes from Canyone lake so we packed everything up and went. The kayak is AWESOME!!! It is so easy to use and it glides through the water so well. I would recommend it to anyone!
Landen absolutely LOVED it. He didn't want to get out.

He looks like he is about to fly away.
Of course Boston had to taste the lifejacket first.
It was kinda heavy for him and he lost his balance and fell over. It reminded us of the little brother in A Christmas Story when he falls over in the snow in his huge snow suit and can't get back up!

KAYAK!!!

Since I have a new found love of camping (as long as there is a lake close by!) we decided to get a kayak. We wanted something we could play around in and take the boys out in when we go to the lake and Bass Pro Shop just happened to be having a REALLY good sale on these kayaks, so we bought one.
Boston already loves it!
We are going camping again this weekend, I'm so excited to try it out!!!

Ouch!

I was making pizza for dinner the other night and had it cooking on our rotating pizza cooker. I was putting Boston in his high chair when I heard Landen start screaming and he was holding his finger. I ran over to him and he had decided to touch the pizza cooker while it was cooking. I was really surprised because he has never tried to do that before because he knows it's hot AND it was pushed back really far on the counter so I didn't even think he could reach it. Well, he burned his pointer finger and had a big blister on it. He was pretty traumatized for the rest of the night and he didn't want to put ice on it so I had him lay in bed and I wet down a wash cloth for him to "rest" his finger on.
It was really sad when I walked in to check on him and this is what I saw.
His finger is much better now, but I can never underestimate how far that little guy can reach.

Potty Training

I have started to potty train Landen. I have no idea of how to go about doing this. He knows all about using the potty and everything, but he still hasn't made the connection to tell me before he goes. He did go his first few drops in the potty yesterday. So if anyone has advice, PLEASE TELL ME!

First Family Campout

For the 4th of July, Rob and I decided to take the boys on our First Family Campout. I am NOT a camper and wasn't to crazy about the idea at first. But I did want to do something and Rob loves camping and the boys love being boys, so going to the great outdoors seemed liked the perfect thing. We decided to go to Lakeview Camp Ground, which is about 15 miles outside of the main town in Flagstaff. We were right across the street from Lake Mary, which was awesome. We got the boys and everything all packed up and headed out Thursday morning.

It was about a 2 1/2 hour ride, but the boys did awesome!

We popped in a Mickey Mouse DVD and the boys were set.

We were all thrilled when we finally got there. While Rob set up the tent, Boston decided to taste a sample of the dirt, rocks, sticks and everything else he could get his hands on.

Lakeview is a really cool campground with 30 sites that each have a big table and a fire ring. Here's what our site looked like after we were done setting up.

Then we decided to head over to the lake. This is the only picture we got of all four of us, and of course neither one of the boys are looking at the camera.

Landen and Rob wanted to test the water and see how the temperature was.

Big brother wanted to help Boston try out the water too.

The water was perfect and everyone loved it......at first.

After one little spill in the water, Boston had had enough. He is our little fish and usually we can't get him OUT of the water, but this time we couldn't keep him in for anything.

The boys were having a really good time just playing on the shore.

And of course Boston has to start chowing down on the sand.

Then Landen decided it would be funny to fill Boston's hair full of sand.

Boston was having a rough time at the lake,

But he did better once brother came and sat by him.

We went back to the lake the next day and Landen got a little braver and finally let me take him out. What a beautiful background. When we got back from the lake, the boys had a good time just playing around in the tent.

Landen wasn't to thrilled that it was raining and we wouldn't let him go outside.

There were lots of trails to go on. When we were walking down this one, Rob made a comment about a bear being in the woods and it traumatized Landen for the rest of the trip. He usually loves bears but he just starting making the connection of bears being scary, so after Rob said that, he was done with the walk. Boston loved it though.

For dinner we just kept it simple and roasted hot dogs. Landen did a great job helping me. I kept telling him to turn and turn and turn the hot dog, and now he thinks that roasting a hot dog is called "Turn and Turn".
We were all pooped at the end of the first day. Rob, Landen, and I all slept on our airmattress and Boston slept in the portable crib. Landen loved sleeping with mommy and daddy. The 2nd day we got hit with a pretty big monsoon storm and were stuck in the tent for a couple hours. We just put in a movie and gave the boys something to eat and they were nice and content.

While we were stuck in the tent, Landen had his first piece of licorice.

We all had a really really good time. The boys absolutely LOVED being outdoors. In fact, we liked it so much we are going back again in 2 weeks. I never thought I would say this, but I think Rob has converted me over to the world of camping.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

My sister Autumn was in her very first musical this past weekend. She played the part of Alice the youngest bride in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers at the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center. She did an AWESOME job, I'm very proud of her!!

I totally look pregnant in this picture, but I PROMISE i'm not! Just a bad angle!

Autumn and her guy Levi!

This is one crazy lift, she is actually REALLY high off the ground!

Autumn and her "Brother", Jacody/Gideon.

I took this picture after the show to redeem myself from the "pregnant looking" picture I took earlier, but my arm wasn't long enough to get my whole body. So once again, I am NOT pregnant.
